Queer Bookclub

𝙇𝙚𝙪𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 

Thanks to online platforms such as BookTok, you can find many more LGBTQIA+ young adult books in the shops nowadays. Hooray! But many other authors and books deserve more attention as well.

That is why we would like to invite avid and occasional readers alike to get to know more of these books on July 28. You can bring your favourite book(s), but you can also join to just listen to other people’s book recommendations.

Novels or graphic novels, fiction or nonfiction, Literature or romance novels, classics or brand-new stories… Everything is possible, as long as it’s “Queer”, whether it’s the main theme or runs in the background. Books in English, Dutch and other languages are welcome.

Dankzij o.a. BookTok vind je tegenwoordig meer LGBTQIA+jeugdboeken in de winkels. Joepie! Ook veel andere auteurs en boeken verdienen zeker extra aandacht.

Daarom nodigen we op 28 juli graag zowel leesfanaten als sporadische lezers uit om meer van deze boeken te leren kennen. Iedereen mag zijn/haar/hun favoriete boek(en) meebrengen, maar kan ook gewoon komen luisteren naar de boekentips van anderen.

Romans of graphic novels, fictie of non-fictie, Literatuur of stationsromannetjes, klassiekers of gloednieuwe verhalen… Alles kan, zolang het “Queer” is, als hoofdthema of meer op de achtergrond. Zowel Nederlandstalige als anderstalige boeken komen in aanmerking.
